Wholesale Sales and Fulfillment Team Member

We are in search of a team member for our wholesale division. Our wholesale division continues to grow and we are looking for a team member who is a cross between an office manager and fulfillment person. This position is similar to the Retail Fulfillment Team Member, but who will also work closely with the owner as an assistant as well. Wholesale is 75% of our sales and Retail is 25%. 

Responsibilities include

-Managing and maintaining our two wholesale platforms Wix and Faire. Experience with DTC website platforms is a plus!


-Order fulfillment. Pulling and fulfilling the orders. Printing shipping labels. Some packages can be up to 45lbs. Experience with fulfillment is a huge plus!


-Customer service. Responding to customer emails and inquiries.


-Managing inventory and stock levels on our online shops. Adding new product listings to the online platforms. Computer skills needed!


-Analyzing sales and creating marketing strategies and online promotions. Prior work experience in the book industry is also a big plus!

Our offices are home to our production team and warehouse. (Five people) There is a separate room in our office for the wholesale division for both fulfillment and order creation.

Fly Paper Products was started in 2006 as a wholesale company and our literary and grammar themed products are sold in over 800 retail stores, museum shops, libraries and book stores throughout the U.S. Our retail sales division was created in 2018 and we continues to grow our customer base each month.

Base Salary depending on experience + Bonuses

Paid Holidays
1 week paid vacation (after six months)
This is a Full Time position 32-40 hours. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. (or earlier)

Are you creative and detail oriented? Do you like to make things and work with your hands? Are you a book lover? Are you interested in seeing how a small, but national, women owned business operates?

Fly Paper Products was started in 2006 and our literary and grammar themed products are sold in over 500 retail stores, museum shops, libraries and book stores throughout the U.S. Our customers know that with our attention to detail, they receive only the best products for their stores shelves. Fly Paper Products is a wholesale company, so there are no 'customers' to wait on. We make (manufacture) our products in our Ann Arbor offices and then they are shipped out to the retail stores.


We are looking for a team member to help us make and package our fun literary and grammar themed products. The ideal team member would have an eye for detail and are slight 'perfectionists', in their own right. Being hands on and having fine motor skills is necessary for many of the projects you would be working on.


What will you be creating on a day to day basis? You will be trained on various machines to score and punch paper for our Notebook and Memo Pad assembly to heat press machines for the production of our coffee mugs. You will package and assemble bookmarks, pencil sets and greeting cards. You will learn our inventory control system to streamline our production and our order fulfillment. Each day if different and tasks will vary throughout the day.

In addition to being a hands on creative type, we also like someone who has experience with invoicing, Excel, Word and can be a part of the fulfillment team. Website experience a plus, but not necessary. Retail experience a plus, but not necessary.
